Our varied and rich gastronomy

Martinique is unique in the Caribbean island because it offers local and French
cuisine at and in the vicinity of Fort de France. You will find many dishes influenced
by local, French and different cultures.

Fort De France :

 

Le Sunny : La Savane

It offers a generous and local cuisine and provides good value for money. It is
adapted to Vegans and vegetarians’ diet. The restaurant is held by two Martinican
reggae artists.

 

Kwi Vert : 41 Rue Jacques Cazotte entre la Savane et l'atrium

You will discover typical African dishes and savior their myriad of flavors. The director
of the restaurant will offer you a warm welcome.

Man Coco : Grand marché, Rue Isambert

It is a bakery that offers local products (“pâtés coco”, “pâtés goyave”, “gateau
coco”…) that are really good and really cheap. Unbeatable prices with incomparable
quality.

The Yellow: 51 Rue Victor Hugo

The chef makes excellent French cuisine with fresh produce and local flavors. The
menu changes every week and the waiters are very helpful and offer good advice.

L'Impératrice : 15 rue de la Liberté


“L'impératrice” is a pretty and traditional hotel located in the capital. It is beautifully
decorated. There are different rooms where you will be able to have breakfast, lunch,
tea, dinner… You will also enjoy eating and having a drink on the terrace. The staff is
helpful and the atmosphere is simply unique.

 

Snack élizé : 48 avenue Caraïbes, la savane

Snack Elizé is a local fast food for lunch and dinner service on the spot or take away. You can enjoy
local burgers and dishes such as skewer of fish, kidney, seafood or chicken at affordable prices.
Moreover, the staff is very nice and welcoming.

Four Senses : Hôtel Simon bord de mer

Located in front of the bay of Fort-de-France, you can admire the beautiful sea view while having a
drink and eating. The staff is very welcoming and professional.

 

Chez Carole : Rue Antoine Siger

Chez Carole is a warm and friendly restaurant where you will savor creole specialties made with fresh
produce such as Colombo, conch, grilled fish, blood sausage, accras. It is good value for money.

La brasserie du théâtre : Cour Perinon

Located in the mall, you will enjoy French cuisine in a classy cozy and unique setting. There is also a

Le Kano : 31 Rue des Bougainvillées

The KANO is a typical, magical, spacious and cozy restaurant. It is the ideal
place to relax and enjoy French cuisine while listening to local artists. The staff
is friendly and welcoming.

L’Annexe : Rue du Chacha

Located in the “village créole” at la Pointe du bout, the restaurant specializes
in pierrades (stone plate grill). Meat and fish lovers will be delighted. You will
enjoy very good meal at reasonable prices.

 

O plaisir des glaces : 7 Rue des Anthuriums

At “O Plaisir des Glaces” you will enjoy salads, milkshakes, crepes and local
handmade ice-cream. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
